About the Project

Not every eCommerce platform is meant for the public. My Basket was built for a specific use case: a B2C portal where only authorized employees from approved companies can shop. Unlike traditional online stores, this platform requires company onboarding before any purchasing can happen. Each company gets its own curated product catalog, custom pricing, and company-specific shipping rates. DigiOxide built My Basket as a controlled, multi-tenant eCommerce system that gives the platform owner complete control over who can buy, what they can buy, and at what price.

The Challenge

The client needed an eCommerce solution that was fundamentally different from standard online stores. Public access had to be restricted — only verified employees from approved companies could make purchases. Different companies needed different catalogs, different pricing, and different shipping rates. The admin needed the ability to onboard new companies, manage their employees, configure product visibility per company, and track all orders and invoices centrally. Standard eCommerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce could not support this level of per-company customization out of the box.

Our Solution

DigiOxide built a custom web-based eCommerce portal from the ground up. The platform features a powerful admin dashboard where the platform owner manages companies, employees, product catalogs, pricing matrices, shipping rates, orders, and invoices. Companies are onboarded with their own settings, and their employees receive credentials to access only their assigned catalogs and products. The checkout and fulfillment flow is fully integrated with company-specific pricing and shipping logic.
