Community Thrive was developed as a digital support and community engagement platform focused on helping immigrant business owners affected by community violence, vandalism, theft, and emotional trauma.
Many low English proficiency (LEP) Korean business owners face difficulties navigating police reporting systems, accessing legal or insurance assistance, understanding victim support processes, and finding culturally relevant guidance during crisis situations.
The platform was designed to centralize trusted information, improve access to support services, encourage community engagement, and help reduce trauma-related stress through accessible digital tools and resources.
The ecosystem includes native Android and iOS applications along with an administrative management portal used to manage announcements, community resources, support content, and platform communications.
